After coming into contact with a new form of "silver" kryptonite, Clark succumbs to intense paranoia, leading him to dangerous behavior. As his mental state deteriorates, his obsession puts Lana in grave danger. The only person capable of helping him regain control is Professor Fine, who must race against time to intervene and prevent a tragic outcome.
