Episode Overview

In the aftermath of the VRA incident, Lois advises Clark to make "Clark Kent" less memorable to avoid drawing attention to his alter ego, The Blur. Their plans take an unexpected turn when Booster Gold, a self-promoting superhero from the future, arrives in Metropolis. He performs heroic acts while basking in the media spotlight, quickly winning the public's affection and aiming to usurp The Blur's title as the "World’s Greatest Superhero." Despite Booster's attempts to woo Lois for a story, she rallies support for The Blur instead. Chaos ensues when an alien scarab accidentally bonds with a boy named Jaime Reyes, transforming him into the uncontrollable Blue Beetle, who begins wreaking havoc in the city.
