Elaine tries out for "A Chorus Line" but doesn’t receive a callback. While leaving, she runs into the casting director, who she finds both charming and kind. They decide to grab dinner together, and things heat up, leading to a night of passion. The next day at work, Elaine is filled with regret for not giving her all during the audition, prompting Nelle to offer her support. Meanwhile, Richard’s father reaches out for assistance, revealing he’s being sued for sexual harassment by his former secretary, whom he dismissed after developing feelings for her, jeopardizing his decades-long marriage.
