Meanwhile, Asa secures a significant new supporter and unveils her song "Tehrangeles" to influential figures within the Persian community. Sammy and MJ attempt to set each other up on a double blind date, but while MJ introduces a "sweet girl" for Sammy, she is shocked to find that Sammy hasn’t reciprocated the thoughtfulness. Motivated by Reza's heartfelt journey to NYC, MJ decides it's time to confront her demanding and critical mother in a long-awaited showdown.
