Meanwhile, Alice finds it difficult to keep the vet clinic functioning smoothly without him, and a harrowing face-to-face meeting with a lion amplifies her stress. On another front, DuPlessis invites Caroline for a simple camping adventure in the heart of the African wilderness to introduce her to the 'true Africa', but things do not go as planned.
