While participating in the Women's Battle Board, Mari Watanabe suffers an unfortunate accident and is rushed to the Susono Base Hospital. Tatsuya steps in to assist with her recovery using his magical abilities. However, Mari is forced to pull out of the Mirage Bat competition. Tatsuya begins to have doubts, suspecting that the incident may have been more than a mere accident.
