In the late 1800s, a clandestine criminal organization known as the 'Black Hand' emerged, notorious for its extortion and violent actions, particularly among Italians. In Laramie, two trapeze performers find themselves in a precarious situation as they are being blackmailed. They had hoped to leave the threats of the 'Black Hand' behind by moving to America, but now they face a new wave of danger.
