General 'Iron Guts' Kelly comes to the camp for an inspection but tragically passes away in Margaret's tent. In a bid to honor his wishes, Hawkeye and Trapper assist the General's aide in secretly removing his body from the camp. The following day, news breaks that he has fallen at the front lines, a fitting end for a soldier of his caliber.
