Blaketon is feeling anxious about his impending retirement and confides in Alf, sharing his decision to seek an extension of his service. Meanwhile, a series of significant thefts occur at a fur factory, resulting in a thrilling police chase on a train, where only two of the three suspects are apprehended. The third thief is eventually located after his son, albeit hesitantly, guides the authorities to him. In a separate adventure, Claude uses a metal detector and believes he may have discovered gold!
