With Edith Benton heading out for a family visit, Greengrass and David take on the responsibility of handling her poodle at the Ashfordly Championship Dog Show. Meanwhile, a pair of precious candlesticks goes missing from the church, creating quite a stir. To add to the drama, the Reverend's daughter finds herself in love with a young man who faces disapproval from her mother.
