The charming Pennsylvania Dutch style, crafted by early furniture artisans, features vibrant, primitive designs. A remarkable collection of this delightful furniture is housed at Winterthur estate in Delaware, the impressive repository of American antiques curated by Henry DuPont. During his visit with curator Greg Landry, Norm discovers a fascinating dower chest from 1840. Inspired, Norm decides to construct his own version using tulip poplar and enlists the help of a decorative painter to replicate the characteristic Pennsylvania Dutch artistry.
