In an effort to secure a spot in his professor's class, he realizes he needs to help Vinita find a suitable partner, but his data-centric methods don’t yield the desired results. His professor advises him to balance his genius with practical insight, motivating him to develop a better dating algorithm. At the same time, Annie is concealing a secret of her own.
