Joe is excited to have a substitute teacher he really admires. However, when Curtis grabs a word puzzle Joe created about her, he needs to retrieve it before anyone notices it's gone. At the same time, Wishbone is frantically searching the living room for his toy newspaper, which, ironically, is right beneath him. This mirrors the theme of today's story, “The Purloined Letter” by Edgar Allan Poe, where a hidden letter remains in plain sight.
