Aru communicates with Yuno via her surveillance system, informing her that he has unearthed three bodies from her garden, two of which had recently had their skulls removed. He threatens to report this to the authorities unless she releases them, pushing Yuno to once again alter her memories, which renders any negotiation pointless. Meanwhile, Kousaka posts his will on his blog, inadvertently transforming it into a Future Diary thanks to the Eighth diary holder, who refers to him as an "apprentice." Following Aru's guidance, Kousaka follows the diary's predictions, leading him to an amnesiac Yuno, a catatonic Yuki, and a restrained Hinata in the control room. His arrival triggers Yuki's memory, as he recalls Yuno's abduction meant to protect him until July 28th.
