Title: The Rebel Heart Plot: After rescuing a young African-American boy from being accused of shoplifting, Ann strikes up a friendship with him. When he claims to live on Park Avenue, she doubts him, prompting him to weave an elaborate tale about having 13 siblings, troublesome rats, living in a rundown tenement, and an abusive father. Disturbed by his story, Ann considers adopting him. However, the boy then surprises her by calling his father, revealing that he is indeed affluent, just as he had originally claimed.
