The chefs are taken aback and puzzled when they discover abalone included in their appetizer baskets. As if that wasn’t enough, they also find a fusion soup and a vibrant assortment of vegetables in their entrée baskets. To top it off, an unexpected egg in the dessert basket forces the contestants to confront the challenge head-on and craft imaginative final dishes.
