Episode Overview
Laverne decides to move in with her new boyfriend, but after a conversation with Lenny, she starts to reconsider her decision. When Laverne informs Shirley about her plans to move out, Shirley delivers a heartfelt speech, reminding her that they’re not getting married, just cohabiting. Laverne reassures Shirley that she’s certain about her choice but asks her to keep it a secret from her father. Shortly after Laverne leaves, Frank shows up looking for her, and Shirley has to fabricate a story to protect her friend. Just then, Lenny arrives at Laverne's new place, encouraging her to think twice about her decision. Realizing her boyfriend has no intention of marrying her, Laverne comes to her senses and decides to return to Shirley.
