Louise is thrilled to get a dinner invitation from her ex, Bill Simpson. Despite her excitement, she ultimately decides against it, knowing it would upset George. Instead, Florence steps in to impersonate her and goes to the dinner. However, things take a turn when Louise has a change of heart and arrives with George, leading to a mix-up that leaves Bill bewildered.
