Dawson finds himself in grave danger when the Watchers accuse him of treason due to his bond with MacLeod. Since Dawson disclosed the existence of the Watchers to MacLeod, there has been a significant spike in Watcher fatalities, and the Tribunal is set on making an example of Joe to put an end to the bloodshed. As MacLeod fights to defend him, tensions rise during the trial, but the murders persist unabated, casting a dark shadow over their struggle.
