Charlie and MacLeod rush to help Sara Lightfoot, an Indian woman escaping with her baby. She reveals that Avery Hoskins is attempting to abduct her child. As Hoskins and his brothers pursue them, they must escape through the wilderness. During their challenging journey through a mountain canyon, MacLeod discovers the shocking truth: the baby is actually Hoskins' son, taken by Sara as revenge for the death of her own child, who perished due to toxic runoff from Hoskins' mining operations.
