The Gehenna Gate has fully swung open, plunging the world of Assiah into total turmoil as humans start to perceive demons. In the midst of this chaos, Yukio departs from the Knights of the True Cross and makes his way to the Illuminati. Meanwhile, Rin feels compelled to uncover the truth about their origins. Guided by Mephisto, he travels back 40 years into the past. There, Rin observes a pivotal encounter between Yuri, an orphan residing in a derelict factory, and Shiro, a test subject from Section 13.
