The recent advancement of a new Chief of Police creates a vacancy for the Chief of Detectives position, with Lieutenant Amy Prentiss as the leading candidate. However, she faces significant resistance from much of the police force. Undeterred, Amy is set on demonstrating her capabilities. With only Ironside and his team backing her, she navigates a challenging case fraught with obstacles, all while striving to gain the respect and acceptance of her predominantly male team as their new leader.
