Hondo's connection deepens when his informant friend is murdered while gathering intel on a robbery crew that the SWAT and FBI task force is pursuing. As he navigates this personal loss, Hondo is also concerned about the erratic behavior of the FBI task force leader, Jessica. She fears that the leader's instability could put the entire team at risk during their operations in the field.
