While waiting for the grand opening of Laserland, teens Leo and Jamie find themselves bored and decide to have some fun by teasing their new neighbor, 9-year-old Mary Anne. However, things take a spooky turn when Mary Anne's ghostly "imaginary friend" starts to retaliate against the bullies. The situation escalates further when Leo grabs Mary Anne's cherished kitten, Boo, leading to unexpected consequences for the boys.
