Episode Overview

On her first day of rotation in the ER, third-year medical student Lucy Knight faces a challenging start. Dr. Greene takes her under his wing, guiding her through the hectic environment. However, she inadvertently rubs an irritable Carter the wrong way by discussing a patient's dire health situation inappropriately with his wife. Throughout the day, Lucy navigates various obstacles, including providing support to a woman grieving a miscarriage, getting stranded on the roof, needing Carol's assistance with a straightforward procedure, and attempting to decipher Kerry Weaver's "Tour on Tape."
