Jake Epping, a teacher in a quaint town, discovers from a friend that a portal exists, allowing travel back to 1960. His friend enlists Jake's help to prevent the assassination of John F. Kennedy. The plan is for Jake to journey into the past, uncover the truth behind Kennedy's murder, and eliminate the person responsible.
