Episode Overview

As Ash and his friends set off on their adventure, Team Rocket swoops in and snatches Pikachu. However, their plan goes awry when their balloon bursts, leaving Pikachu under the watchful eye of a Turtwig. When Ash and the gang discover Pikachu with Turtwig, they meet Clara, a warm-hearted elderly woman who invites them for a meal. Clara is a Pokémon Caretaker, and Turtwig serves as her protector, yet it seems to have taken a liking to Ash. Will Ash decide to welcome Turtwig into his team?
