The gas company plans to install a pipeline 25 feet beneath the Munsters' home, but this poses a problem. The proposed route would cut right through Grandpa's underground lab, which is filled with his eccentric experiments. The Munster family must devise a way to protect their beloved dungeon while dealing with the gas company’s encroaching plans, leading to a series of humorous and chaotic events as they try to safeguard their unique home.
