When Ed learns that Dennis and Carol are now living together, he feels the pressure to come up with the ideal plan to rekindle their old romance. Meanwhile, Dennis, unhappy with the current favorite for senior class president, chooses to enter the race himself. On another front, Warren prepares for his first official date with Diane, but soon realizes that their connection isn’t quite what he anticipated in terms of romance.
