S1E1 Pilot

After losing his job due to a misplaced comma in a lengthy contract that cost his law firm millions, Ed Stevens returns home to share the unfortunate news with his wife, only to catch her in bed with the mailman. Heartbroken, he chooses to abandon his current life and return to his hometown of Stuckeyville, Ohio. There, he unexpectedly reunites with Carol Vessey, the girl he adored in high school, who now teaches English at the local high school. Inspired by their meeting, Ed decides to stay and buys the local bowling alley, where he opens a new law practice.
