Episode Overview

Amy struggles with Lauren's desire for privacy, while Maxine, overwhelmed by the grief of losing Anthony Bird, deceives Sean and makes poor decisions regarding a teenage boy hiding in a hotel room after learning he was kidnapped by his mother as a child. As Amy investigates a potential aggravated sexual assault between two teens at a party, she finds it hard to leave the case behind when she runs into Lauren at home. Gillian reacts positively to their financial troubles and offers Peter her support, while Vincent admits to her that he has stopped working on his book.
