Episode Overview

Sonny Daye, Mark's estranged father, triumphs in a poker game and wins a bar in the Los Angeles area. He decides to partner with Mark to run the establishment, with financial backing from a judge. They get ready to relaunch it as "McCormick's Bar and Grill." Meanwhile, Teddy Peters, who lost the bar to Sonny, is pressured by mobster Doyle Madison to reclaim it. Despite Teddy’s tempting cash offer, Sonny refuses to sell, leading Teddy to send his men to intimidate him. After Teddy is murdered in a drive-by, Hardcastle suspects deeper issues at the bar. Investigating, they uncover that the mob has been using the site to dispose of bodies. To connect the bar to Doyle, Hardcastle orchestrates a meeting with him. Doyle takes the bait, leading to a police sting operation that results in his arrest along with his crew. Subsequently, the bar is seized as evidence, leaving Sonny, Hardcastle, and Mark out of
