As the execution date for death-row inmate Lee Dae Chul approaches, Do Chang is also facing an evaluation for his promotion. Aware that Lee Dae Chul has a solid alibi for the murder, Do Chang grapples with a dilemma: should he fight to save an innocent man or comply with the powers that be? Meanwhile, while visiting Dae Chul’s former workplace with Ji Hyuk, they are joined by Seo Gyeong, who suddenly receives an urgent phone call from Park Gun Ho, raising concerns about the situation.
