Mitzi Huntley reenters Nate and David's lives when a widow searching for bargains brings her back into the picture. At the same time, Ruth's sister Sarah shows up unexpectedly, reigniting old tensions. Later, a family dinner, laced with vodka, dampens the joyful announcement from Nate and Brenda, overshadowing their happiness with a heavy atmosphere.
