A Different World S04E11 - I'm Dreaming of a Wayne Christmas

Episode Overview

Dwayne invites Whitley and Ron to celebrate Christmas at his parents' home, and Whitley is eager to make a good impression on Dwayne's mother. In a bid to win her over, she sneaks out before dinner to purchase an extravagant gift for Mrs. Wayne. However, after missing the subway, a Santa Claus impersonator robs her of the present. With the help of the police, Whitley manages to reclaim the gift, but it ends up damaged. Mrs. Wayne realizes her mistake and encourages Whitley to relax. Meanwhile, Ron faces consequences from his father for refusing to work at the family dealership, losing his spot on their Hawaiian vacation. He finds comfort in indulging in Mrs. Wayne's delicious cooking until his father reconsiders his punishment.
