In Amity Park, a rapid construction surge angers Undergrowth, the ghost embodying all plant life. He seizes control of the town, transforming its residents into vegetation, leaving only Sam untouched—whom he crowns as his queen. Unfortunately, Sam is brainwashed and turned against Danny, who is grappling with a severe chill that weakens him. After narrowly escaping Undergrowth in the Ghost Zone, Danny seeks help from his cold-enthusiast friend Frostbite, who reveals that Danny is awakening a new ability. Now, Danny must harness this freezing power to return to Amity Park and rescue the town from Undergrowth's grip.
