Brackman becomes an innocent target in a violent hate crime. Meanwhile, Kelsey takes on the defense of a logging executive entangled in legal troubles linked to a tree-spiking protester. Additionally, C.J.'s father arrives in town, heavily intoxicated, causing a stir and complicating matters for C.J. as he tries to manage the situation.
