Episode Overview

Kuzak represents a black college professor accused of murdering his young white research assistant, but his defense falters when the prosecutor intentionally delays DNA evidence, revealing inconsistencies in his client’s story and undermining Kuzak's strategy. Meanwhile, Van Owen challenges an insanity defense raised by a claims adjuster charged with insurance fraud, who claims his actions were driven by an uncontrollable sexual obsession instigated by his dominatrix. Becker's relentless pursuit of a substantial settlement for his client ultimately harms their relationship. In a bid to support Hackett, McKenzie tasks Sifuentes with educating Stulwicz about contraception.
