Van Owen is taken aback when the defense lawyer for her attempted murder case accuses her and her witnesses of racism. Meanwhile, McKenzie attracts the attention of a young fan while representing a retired individual who enjoys filing lawsuits. The Debeque twins cause a commotion in the office while searching for Sifuentes but end up reconnecting with an old acquaintance instead. Meanwhile, Melman struggles to decline Meyer's generous gestures of friendship, including gifts of flowers, dinner invitations, and the loan of a car.
