Long before they became infamous figures in the Supreme Team, Kenneth “Supreme” McGriff and Gerald “Prince” Miller spent their childhood in the vibrant middle-class neighborhood of South Jamaica, Queens. However, as the landscape of New York shifted in the 1970s, a harrowing encounter with police and the emergence of new influences would set the stage for the establishment of the Supreme Team in the early 1980s.
