Del is presented with an irresistible opportunity to purchase 250 18-carat gold chains from retired jeweler Arnie. Eager to seize the moment, he quickly assembles a multi-million dollar business team, including Mike from the Nag's Head, Trig, Boycie, Uncle Albert, and a hesitant Rodney. Initially, everything seems promising until disaster strikes when Arnie falls ill just as the deal is on the verge of finalization. This unforeseen setback leaves Del contemplating the true nature of wealth and the saying that not all that glitters is gold.
