Meanwhile, David and Donna hide their plans and head out for a shopping trip. Unfortunately, they end up in a car accident, resulting in Donna hurting her back and turning to painkillers for relief. Val urges Noah to reconnect with his estranged half-brother, Josh. Both Valerie and Noah grow increasingly paranoid, suspecting infidelity, leading to feelings of depression.
