Steve Douglas gets a scented letter from a former girlfriend informing him of her upcoming visit. Her arrival sends him into a panic as she seems to interpret his unspoken feelings as a marriage proposal. In a bid to deflect her affections, Steve scrambles to persuade her that his old college buddy is actually the right match for her.
