Around 8,000 years ago, a vibrant land known as Doggerland thrived, filled with mammoths, deer, and communities of hunter-gatherers that linked Britain to mainland Europe. However, this Stone Age haven was ultimately obliterated by a catastrophic event, vanishing beneath the North Sea for nearly eight millennia. Gradually, archaeological discoveries are shedding light on what life was like in this Mesolithic utopia, as well as the challenges faced by its inhabitants as their world submerged into the depths.
