Monica, Vic, and the strike team join forces to re-arrest Antwon Mitchell, who was released from prison due to a deal with the DEA. As Vic expresses his doubts about David's ties to both Antwon and a recent inmate's murder, David realizes he must safeguard his political career at any price. Meanwhile, the investigation into the death of a protective father takes Claudette and Dutch back to a familiar foster home. In a controversial move, Monica makes a decision that ultimately seals her fate.
