Episode Overview
An 11-year-old girl is spotted being forcibly taken into a car, prompting the police to issue an Amber alert. As time ticks away, the likelihood of finding her safely decreases. While examining the evidence, Tony Hill starts to doubt the theory that she was kidnapped by a stranger, suspecting instead that she may have been familiar with her abductor. The girl's mother is distraught, and her stepfather has a history of violence. Just when the case seems to be heading in one direction, a surprising turn alters the investigation, prompting Tony and DI Alex Fielding to reevaluate everything.
