Rosemary and Laura head to Italy to get the gardens ready for Emma Standish's new restaurant but quickly realize they’re falling behind on their work. In need of a break, they take the advice of local fixer Fabrizio Biaggi and join a guided tour of Giardini Tremonti. Their outing takes a dark turn when they discover the body of Janice Alexander. Fabrizio is taken into custody, prompting Emma to enlist Rosemary and Laura to clear his name. As they dig deeper, another shocking death occurs: retired diplomat Basil Slavinski is found dead at the edge of his cliffside garden.
