Lovejoy finds himself entangled in a dark scheme involving Mussolini's nose and the sea burial of Captain Bucknall, who happens to be Jane's former housekeeper's brother. Tasked with selling the deceased captain's medals, he encounters a savvy fashion photographer interested in them. However, the situation complicates when a group of unruly sailors arrives, forcing Lovejoy to confront the armed Angelo Pantaloni.
