Following a failed stakeout to catch a drug shipment heading into Mt. Thomas, Jack finds himself under scrutiny. Determined to clear his name, he devises his own theory about the case. However, the situation escalates when the body of a young girl is discovered, prompting the Heelers to launch an extensive manhunt for her killer. In a twist of fate, Jack’s covert efforts to exonerate himself inadvertently place his colleagues in grave peril, resulting in him being shot and left for dead.
