Shocked, Ben takes it upon himself to alert the community, but Donald Heinz defends his innocence and civil liberties, sparking division among the residents. This situation leads Tom to reconsider his choice of Ben as Acting Sergeant. Tensions escalate further when a young girl goes missing, and suspicion falls on Heinz, prompting accusations of abduction.
